Jillian Banks A.K.A Banks is an American singer songwriter from Los Angeles, she has toured around the world as the supporting act for The Weeknd. Her sound has caught the eye of MTV as a nominee for Brand New Music as well as the Sound of 2014 for BBC's Radio 1. With Katy Perry as a fan of her music Banks is some one to look out for this year. 

I first heard her single Waiting Game and understood soon after what all the fuss was about. There is something very 'cool' about her music almost sultry in a dark and morbid way, it's almost captivating. Her upcoming album Goddess will be released around the world on September 8th.
