Orange is the new EVERYTHING!

This is one of those times when I feel I have to plug a show I am obsessed with, unlike a lot of other die hard fans I only started watching the first series last week and finished the entire season in the SAME week. The second season's trailer has just been released, words can't explain how excited I am, the show is based on a book by Piper Kerman who the story is based on Orange Is The New Black is her memoir about her own experiences in prison. Kerman was convicted for a 10 ear old minor crime (smuggling drug money for her lesbian drug dealer girlfriend) she is educated with a good job, fiancée and the world at her feet when everything is ripped away from her.

The show is based loosely on Kerman's life and is filled with prison wives, bad food, hilarious characters and Taylor Schilling as Piper herself. Although Schilling does an excellent job at playing the 'foot in mouth', educated Barbie the other characters seem to steal the show, Crazy Eyes is my favourite. If you haven't watched the show, do yourself a favour and watch the first episode, you'll be hooked.
