Loneliness!

I stumbled across this video and I felt like I needed to share it, the title of this video is 'The Innovation of Loneliness'... Personally I love videos like this, that make me feel like someone has taken the time to create visual content that answers some of life's mysterious things.

In this case the video discusses why we feel the need to connect to people in order to avoid feeling alone. The video claims that the way we connect with other people is through digital platforms, which has allowed us to create the perfect version of ourselves in order to create memories through images and videos while capturing our deepest thoughts through Twitter, Facebook etc. He says 'Man is a social creature and the feeling of loneliness can drive you mad,'...... 

I hear YOU voice of reason, I'm basically doing the exact thing he is talking about in the video, I am sitting here on a Tuesday night on my computer writing a blog entry hoping that at least one person (other than myself or the five friends I force to sit and read my blog weekly), will look at this and think, hey..she's cool, she gets me. 

We might live in a world where the common denominator is loneliness, but we also live in a world where your friends are a click away and the images you capture are memories that will last forever, and in a lot of ways you can share the version of yourself that is the most colourful, there is nothing wrong with a little bit of mystery.
