Winter Essentials!

Winter is my favourite season of the whole year, I know what you're probably thinking and the answer to your question is yes I know it can be cold, miserable, wet and uncomfortable...However there is something about the smell of winter in the air, hot chocolate and of course winter fashion that I, surprisingly, prefer over any other.

I have always loved and preferred my winter wardrobe, layering, beautiful warm winter coats, boots, chunky scarves and fluffy jumpers are stylish and lets face it hide that dreaded winter bulge. As long as I am warm, I am happy. Over the past few months I have collected some of my favourite winter items that I cannot go without in the cold winter months and I would like to share them with you.

I never leave the house without my leather gloves from Primark they are definitely a bargain buy, a simple look that is classic and effortless.

This is the only high end product in my Winter essentials Mac's Fix+ gives you that summer glow without looking cakey or ashy and holds your make up in place all day. A little goes a long way with this product, spray a little amount either before or after you apply your make up.

When my hair is looking a little dull and dry Aussie's Miracle Recharge does wonders for my hair and extensions, this leave in conditioner is lightweight and gives you that perfect shine without looking greasy.

I was on the hunt for an affordable everyday perfume and found this little hidden gem at Zara, not only does it smell good the packaging is simple with a hint of rose gold, my favourite combination of colours. The travel size tube is perfect if you are on the go.

I am usually drawn to bright bold nail colours, however I have found myself going for  "paler" colours. I am loving them at the moment, perfect for any season.

A hot water bottle is ESSENTIAL all year round, of course in the colder months my trusty bottle is used regularly, I do find myself using it when I am having belly or back ache problems too.

A scented candle is another necessary essential all year round, they create a relaxing atmosphere and smell good, win win.

Three Is Never A Crowd!

Three powerful musical forces have come together to create something innovative, creative, odd and interesting. I wanted to share this little treat once both music videos were officially released. The legend that is Paul McCartney features on both Kanye West's heartfelt song Only One, dedicated to his daughter North and FourFiveSeconds, the first official single off of Rihanna's upcoming album.

Both Kanye and Rihanna  are experimenting with a new sound and melody, which I am absolutely loving. Kanye's emotional song is heart-warming and honest showing a sensitive side to the usual overly confident rapper, much like Marmite the song has generated a lot of love but also confusion.
Pop princess Rihanna's  new music is unexpected, stripped back, simple yet classic, the raspy tone in her voice is beautiful and sounds effortless. McCartney's instrumental flair gives the song that acoustic feel, the perfect comeback we've been waiting for. It's good to have Riri back.

Is it just me, or can both their albums not come out quick enough??
Enjoy <3

If I Let The Rhythm Get To Me!

The Rhythm might be my favourite MNEK single so far, if the name does not ring a bell, chances are you have heard one of  the records he is featured on or written himself at some point.
At just 20 years old Uzo Emenike has worked with some of the biggest artists from Gorgon City, Rudimental and Chris Malinchak.

His album is due later this year check him out, enjoy <3
